Backing him are two giants: Scott Colley, one of modern jazz’s most recorded bassists, whose collaborations span from Joe Henderson to Herbie Hancock; and Brian Blade, the rhythmic core of Wayne Shorter’s final quartet and leader of the acclaimed Fellowship band.
