Realtime Collective gathers four in-demand Bay Area improvisers for a night that prioritizes listening, trust, and groove over fixed arrangements. Anchored by pianist and vocalist Tammy L. Hall, the group draws on shared histories in jazz, gospel, soul, and blues to build sets that evolve in the moment.

Rather than working from a set list carved in stone, the band reacts to the room, reshaping themes, stretching vamps, and leaving plenty of space for spontaneous dialogue. In the Joe Henderson Lab's intimate setting, that sense of risk and discovery becomes part of the draw.
